Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who is appointed by the Board of Directors from among the executive members of the Board of Directors, coordinates the work of the executive members of the Board of Directors and organizes the business activities of the company. In addition, the CEO is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company, and has the authority to decide on matters which are not within the competences of the Shareholders’ Assembly or the Board of Directors.

In accordance with the principles of good practice of corporate governance, the functions of the CEO and the Chairman of the Board of Directors are separate, so the CEO cannot at the same time be the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The CEO is the legal representative of NIS.

The Chief Executive Officer of NIS j.s.c. Novi Sad is Mr. Кirill Tyurdenev.

Born in 1977.

He undertook studies at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), graduating from the Faculty of International Relations with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations (with honors), and subsequently earning his Master’s degree in International Law (with honors). He also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Manchester and completed executive education programs at INSEAD and London Business School.

From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Tyurdenev worked for A.T. Kearney and Unilever and in 2004 he joined McKinsey & Co. From 2007 to 2012, Mr. Tyurdenev worked for Sibur Fertilizers as Deputy CEO for Strategy and Business Development. From 2012, he served as Executive Vice President and member of the Management Board of JSFC Sistema, a leading private equity firm in Russia. Prior to joining NIS j.s.c. Novi Sad, Kirill Tyurdenev held positions of President and Chairman of the Management Board at United Petrochemical Company, which at that time was part of the JSFC Sistema group, and of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ufaorgsintez.

In April 2016, Kirill Tyurdenev joined NIS j.s.c. Novi Sad as First Deputy CEO for Downstream.

In December 2016, he was elected member of the Board of Directors. In March 2017 he was appointed CEO of NIS j.s.c. Novi Sad.

What is a cookie?

The types of cookies we use

If you are setting the language, font size or a certain website version (e.g. high contrast mode), cookies for setting user interface are used for that. When the setting is complete, you are not required to specify your preferences when you next visit this website.

If you are using the website sections where you need to register in order to access them, we place an authentication cookie on your computer for that purpose. This allows you to leave and return to those sections without re-authentication.

NIS wants to find out about the way in which visitors use its websites, which is why it uses network analytics services. They register the number of visitors and provide us with general information about their behaviour, such as key words entered into the browser that direct the user to our website, the average time that a user spends on the website and the number of pages browsed by a user. For this purpose, we place the so-called first-party analytics cookie on your computer.

To monitor network statistics, we may also use services like Google Analytics. In that case, Google places the so-called third-party cookie on your computer. Such a cookie is also placed when we use Google maps.

All data collected by these cookies is stored and managed by NIS or its affiliates in the countries where the company operates.
