NIS group’s operations in nine months of 2025

October 30, 2025

Stability in the Domestic Market of Petroleum Products Maintained

In the period January-September 2025, NIS Group operated under extremely complex circumstances, primarily taking into account the sanctions of the US Treasury Department, which took full effect on October 9. In addition, the NIS results were influenced by lower oil prices that were 14 percent lower than in the same period last year, as well as by the HIP Petrohemija’s loss, which was RSD 7.4 billion during the reporting period due to the unfavorable situation in the entire petrochemical industry.

Under these circumstances, NIS Group recorded a loss of RSD 0.3 billion, while the EBITDA indicator amounted to RSD 21.1 billion in the first nine months of the current year. Operating cash flow is RSD 26.7 billion. A positive impact on financial results has been brought by the program of measures for savings at all levels, as well as adaptation to business in the newly emerged circumstances. The stability in the domestic market of petroleum products was also preserved, as well as the social stability of employees.

The calculated liabilities based on public revenues of the NIS Group amount to RSD 167.7 billion, while RSD 4,6 billion were allocated to dividends to shareholders for 2024.

When it comes to operational results, in the period January-September, the total volume of oil and gas production was 837.7 thousand conditional tons, which is two percent less compared to the comparative period. The volume of refined crude oil and semi-finished products increased by five percent compared to the same period last year, and amounts to 2.672 million tons. At the same time, the total turnover of petroleum products amounts to 2.421 million tons, which is 10 percent lower compared to the period January-September 2024.

In the forthcoming period, NIS will continue adapting its operations and further plans to the new circumstances. At the same time, the Company remains dedicated to efforts to be delisted from the SDN list as soon as possible or to obtain a new license that will enable its smooth operation.
